IRIS II (Nellie)

Iris II, known as “Nellie”, is an 18 year old bay mare by Roviris who arrived with Hugh in 2016 and with him moved up from BE90 to Novice in the same year.

In 2017 the combination established themselves at Novice level. Following an accident in the field Hugh has taken the decision to put Iris II into foal in 2021.   

Luna by Future Gravitas safely arrived in August 2022,  and in 2024 Nellie produced another foal by Amiro Z – Bill.  Nellie is enjoying an active retirement now and back in work with our farrier Dave Howell’s daughter Ella.
